Period search
Select a start and end date to list donations
You can review donations received periodically by displaying transactions between two selected dates. Use the date fields in the Donations screen, select the start and end dates, then run the query.
- Open Donations in the Institution Management Panel.
- Select the start date of the period to review.
- Select the end date of the same period.
- Run the query to display donations received during that date range.
Selecting the right period
Use a date range that matches your review purpose
Date-range search can be used for a campaign period, monthly donation activity, support received after a specific announcement, or internal reporting needs.
- Make sure the start date is before the end date.
- For campaign reporting, check the campaign’s actual start and end dates.
- Use a consistent date approach for comparable monthly reviews.
- For broad periods, consider narrowing results with a project or donor search.
Reviewing results
Assess donation activity for the selected period
The query result helps you review donations made to your organization or relevant projects during the selected dates. Use it for campaign, donation-programme or authorised internal reporting purposes.
- Check donation dates and their relevance to the selected period.
- Where there are multiple projects, review which project or donation page each donation relates to.
- Use the relevant detailed search for donor, project or selection-criteria information.
- Do not confuse the result with scholar-selection or payment decisions, which are handled through the institution’s own programme process.
Excel export
Convert selected-period results into an Excel file
The list produced by the date-range query can be exported to Excel through the action available in the panel. Use the file only for authorised internal reporting and donation tracking.
- Check the date range and query result before exporting.
- Store the file in secure organization storage.
- Do not share donor information with unauthorised people.
- Do not create unnecessary copies, screenshots or exports.
Donor information that may appear in an Excel export must be used only to manage the donation process. Do not use it for unrelated purposes or transfer it outside the organization.
