Your donation is transferred to the supported organisation’s official donation account
bursverenler.org provides digital infrastructure for receiving and tracking donations. An online donation made to an organisation, scholarship programme or project is transferred to that organisation’s declared official donation account under the transfer conditions in the accepted donation agreement.
- Check the organisation, scholarship programme or project information on the page you support.
- An organisation may have separate pages for different scholarships or projects; your donation is linked to the page you selected.
- Authorised organisation users can track donations in their panel.
- Organisations can also follow donation activity through monthly reports.
Donation amount
A 4% service fee applies to online donations
A 4% service fee is deducted from online donations. The remaining amount is transferred to the relevant organisation’s official donation account under the monthly transfer conditions in the accepted donation agreement. No additional or hidden charge applies.
For an online donation of TRY 1,000, TRY 40 is deducted as the service fee and TRY 960 is recorded as the amount to be transferred to the relevant organisation’s official donation account.
Why does my donation not reach the organisation’s account immediately?
Online payment, transaction recording and donation reporting are completed first. Transfers are then made in aggregate under the monthly conditions of the accepted donation agreement.
Is the service fee deducted from the scholarship recipient?
No. The fee applies to the online donation transaction. The organisation determines scholarship amounts and payment conditions under its own programme rules.
Support for scholarship recipients
Payments to scholarship recipients are managed within the organisation’s programme process
Even where a donation is intended to support a scholarship recipient, a direct personal money transfer between donor and recipient is not made. The donation purpose is followed within the relevant organisation’s scholarship programme, and payments to recipients are made through the organisation’s authorised process, conditions and payment plan.
- The organisation is responsible for recipient selection, scholarship amount, continuation conditions and payment method.
- bursverenler.org does not make scholarship payment commitments on behalf of organisations.
- Where a donor states a preference, eligibility and document checks still form part of the organisation’s assessment process.
- A recipient’s bank and contact information are not shared with the donor.
Transferring a donation to an organisation and paying a scholarship recipient are separate processes. The first follows the donation agreement; the second follows the organisation’s scholarship programme rules.

Check your donation record first, then review the page you supported
Keep your donation record after the payment is complete. Check the transaction result and the page you supported to confirm which organisation, scholarship programme or project your donation relates to.
- Confirm that the payment result is successful.
- Check the amount, date and supported organisation or project.
- Keep your donation record or transaction reference, where available.
- If you see a transfer-related discrepancy, submit a support request with the transaction details.
