Before you start
Make sure you can access the details you will use to register
This guide is for individual user accounts: Scholarship seekers and individual users can create an account on the Sign Up page. If you want to provide scholarships or manage scholarship processes on behalf of an organization, you need to use the application process for organizations.
- Have an active email address and mobile phone number that you can access.
- Create a strong password that you do not use for other accounts.
- Enter your identity and contact details accurately and completely.
- If you are under 18, complete the process with the permission of your parent or legal guardian.
If you see a message stating that your email address or phone number is already registered, do not create another account. Use the Login page or reset your password.
Step by step
How do I create a new account?
-
Open the Sign Up page
Open the Sign Up page to access the registration form. Check that the address bar displays the bursverenler.org domain.
-
Complete the requested information
Carefully complete the identity, date of birth, contact and password fields in the form. Your information must belong to you and be up to date so that you can access your account without difficulty later.
-
Review the terms and submit the form
Read the Website Terms of Use. Check your information one last time, then tap or click the submit button.
-
Enter the code sent to your mobile phone
Enter the verification code sent to the mobile phone number you provided during registration and complete the verification process. Do not share this code with anyone.
-
Log in to your account
After you see the message confirming that your registration is complete, you can log in with your email address and password.
Troubleshooting
If you experience a verification issue
I did not receive the verification code
Make sure that you entered your phone number correctly and that your phone can receive SMS messages. Wait briefly. If the screen offers an option to resend the code, use it once. If the issue continues, contact us.
I see an “Invalid verification code” message
Check that you are using the most recently received code and that there are no spaces before or after it. If you requested more than one code, earlier codes may no longer be valid.
My email address or phone number is already registered
This message usually means that you previously created an account. Instead of opening another account, try to log in. If you do not remember your password, start the reset process on the Forgot Password page.
I entered incorrect information during registration
You can update editable information from your profile after logging in. If you cannot change a field that affects identity or account verification, do not create another account. Request support through the Contact Us page.
Security
Protect these details when creating your account
- Never share your password or SMS verification code with anyone.
- Use only a phone number and email address that belong to you and that you can access.
- If you use a shared device, log out of your account when you are finished.
- Enter your login details only on pages under the bursverenler.org domain.
An SMS verification code is personal security information that protects access to your account. The bursverenler.org team, scholarship providers and donors will not ask you to share this code.
