About Scholarship
SCHOLARSHIP CRITERIA:
- It is a scholarship open only to female students.
The student must
- be ranked in the top 100,000 (one hundred thousand) in the university entrance exam,
- be studying in undergraduate departments of state universities or foundation universities with 100% scholarship,
- be a Turkish citizen,
- be studying in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronic Communications Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering, Industrial and Systems Engineering, Control Automation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Automotive Engineering or Artificial Intelligence Engineering programs,
- not have more than one (1) course from the lower class,
- have a GPA of 2.50/70 and above for continuing students,
- be no older than 25 years of age,
- not be a senior year student.
GENDER: Female
DUPLICATE SCHOLARSHIP STATUS: Scholarship from any foundation, association, company or Credit Dormitories Institution (KYK) scholarship and loan are not an obstacle to apply for this scholarship.
SCHOLARSHIP REPAYMENT STATUS: Non-refundable

ABOUT THE PROGRAM AND THE FOUNDATION
Rumi says: ‘’Pearls are not found in every nacre.’’ We set out to find the real pearls in the nacres.
And again he says: "The best of people is the one who benefits people."
As Hasan Faydasıçok Education Foundation (Faydasıçok Foundation), we have realized a very special project that we named "Pearls in Nacre" at the end of nearly a year of training and project development stages, which we shaped with great excitement in order to be beneficial to the society by working in the field of education. The essence of our project is to raise awareness of our society against gender discrimination in education and to encourage our girls especially in the field of engineering.
A key part of the success of this project is the first phase, where we organize information seminars for girls to aim for higher education first and to decide on their career choices without prejudices related to gender discrimination.
In the second phase of "Pearls in Nacre", we provide financial support, mentoring support provided by experienced volunteer engineer women and internship support to young women studying in certain engineering departments during their university education. When they graduate in the following years, we plan to support them by using both Faydasıçok Holding Group Companies and our network from our deep-rooted history in the industrial sector to provide job support. Our aim is to help raise well-equipped women engineers and contribute to the development of our country.
Hasan Faydasıçok Education Foundation was established in 2016 to operate in the field of education, with the mission of bringing competent, productive, enterprising and useful young people into society and business life for our country and the world. We act with the awareness that education is indispensable for the development of the society we live in. We aim to contribute to change by supporting the upbringing of young people who make a difference and add value to our country and the world.
