From Participation to Power: Izmir Forum is a two-day participatory forum where young women can share their experiences of civic and political participation, identify common barriers and develop concrete policy recommendations for municipalities and political parties.

  • Digital harassment, disinformation and AI-related risks
  • Developing concrete policy recommendations for municipalities and political parties
What kind of forum is it?
The forum will use Open Space Technology. Rather than following a fully predetermined agenda, participants will help shape the discussions based on their own experiences, priorities and questions.

  • Young women aged 15-35
  • Those living, studying or working in Izmir
  • Those interested in civic and political participation, gender equality and social change
Why do we recommend this opportunity?
We believe young people should be able to participate in decision-making not only by expressing opinions, but also by helping shape solutions and public policies. We find this forum valuable because it creates space for young women to turn their own experiences into collective demands and concrete policy recommendations.
