Support Family System

Educational support from primary school to the end of high school

GÜÇEV aims to support the needs of children who cannot access educational opportunities for economic reasons, from primary school until they complete high school.

The Support Family System, identified by the foundation as its main working method, is based on regular donations that contribute to children’s educational needs. Children to be supported are identified through face-to-face meetings within the foundation’s Student Support Procedure.

In line with its commitment to the principles of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, GÜÇEV aims to support children without discrimination based on religion, language, race or social class.

Through activities and projects, GÜÇEV aims to contribute to more children growing up as knowledgeable, cultured and healthy individuals.

The foundation takes its name from the sun, regarded throughout human history as a symbol of strength, knowledge and enlightenment. GÜÇEV continues its work with the support of people and communities that contribute to education.
